| FAMS offers secondary school students entering grade 11 a chance to develop skills and knowledge in Math, Science, and Technology through integration in a manufacturing environment. Students will then apply the skills and knowledge through internships in a wide variety of manufacturing and business environments. FAMS is... - A half day program offered in the mornings first and second semester in both Grade 11 and Grade 12 - A ten credit program - University destination students earn 2 Math (Gr. 11 Functions & Gr. 12 Geometry and Discrete Math), ..........2 Physics, 4 Manufacturing Technology and 2 Summer Co-op credits - College destination students earn 2 Math (College or University), 2 Physics, 4 Manufacturing ..........Technology, 2 Summer Co-op credits, and 1 optional Robotics. | The Halton Home Builders Program, in partnership with the Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board, provides a unique opportunity for students to participate in the building of a home. Students also earn work for an employer(s) in the community. The Halton Home Builders Program is a four credit, one semester program, in which students experience the many skilled trades available in the home building industry while building a house from the ground up.
