HIP - Halton Internship Program Currently available for Communications Technology, Landscaping, Hospitality, Child Care (click name for a pdf brochure) The Internship Program provides students with specific education, work experience and training relating to their areas of interest. Students are given the opportunity to specialize in specific areas within one industry in order to prepare for post secondary education and / or work placement. Practical Skill Development and Independent study programs will accommodate specializations. A strong emphasis is placed on industry support and involvement to maximize the relevancy of career preparation and training. |

| FAMS offers secondary school students entering grade 11 a chance to develop skills and knowledge in Math, Science, and Technology through integration in a manufacturing environment. Students will then apply the skills and knowledge through internships in a wide variety of manufacturing and business environments. | The Halton Home Builders Program, in partnership with the Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board, provides a unique opportunity for students to participate in the building of a home. Students also earn work for an employer(s) in the community. The Halton Home Builders Program is a four credit, one semester program, in which students experience the many skilled trades available in the home building industry while building a house from the ground up.
